Beary Nice
Hello everyone, Well it's nearly that time of the year when we celebrate Easter, which was in my mind, when Shell at MTTC (My Time To Craft) suggested for our challenge this week to use Bears, nice, cuddly, lovable bears. i have always liked DL cards, as these are called, I think it means Double Length, the card measures 3.5 " wide x 7" long. Sorry I still believe in feet and inches. I used a lovely Tatty Ted - A Do Craft stamp and coloured it with Promarkers. I'm so looking forward to seeing your Beary Nice projects, please take a peek at the challenge blog to be inspired by the Design Team. Thanks for any comments you may leave.

D is for Die-Cuts
Hello everyone, firstly let me apologise for the days's delay in posting my design card for Alphabet Challenges for the letter D which Marie chose DIE CUTS - A nice change for us to challenge you with.
My computer crashed on Monday, well it was 15 year old, and going very slow. New one was acquired fairly quickly and to stay I am struggling is a good way to describe it. Especially with pictures etc., hence my
lateness. Never mind, at last I'm here with my Die Cuts card. I used papers, die cut greeting and die cut flowers from the Vogue collection from Craftwork Cards - and a Die cut birdcage. I hope you have fun playing with die cuts. If you don't have a machine or dies, don't worry none of mine above have been cut by me, all in a pack die cut and ready to go. Have fun everyone.

Gone Fishing
This week at Cardz 4 Guyz Janice in the US has chosen for us GONE FISHING - I believe this is the most popular sport for men in the UK, not sure about it in the US. If your new to the male orientated blog you will know we accept any medium, technique, we are happy for you to either stay in your comfort zone or experiment. To this purpose this week, I decided to make a card using an old favourite of mine, and again I believe one of the most popular forms of card making and that is decoupage. My card is made from papers and the decoupaged image from a CD 'The Best of La Pache 2012' which is a wonderful source for a wide variety of topics. I really can't say I designed the card, for I did follow a format from the CD, but I did make the card. So whatever you choose to do, check out the wonderful DT inspiration over on the blog, for there are various formats of techniques. Hope you'll join in with the challenge, Looking forward to visiting you.

Going Around in Circles
Jocelyn has chosen Going Around in Circles for us at CD Sunday Challenges this week. I do hope my card for the Design Team fits into the brief, for I will be honest, sometimes as a DT member we too struggle to beat the challenge, but we must give it a go, so I hope you will too. I'm sure you'll come up with some amazing effects, as the remainder of Team B have, please pop over to see their cards. I made mine with papers from Debbie Moore - Lizzy Lu Inspirations, this was a new CD for me, having missed it on TV, but a friend kindly loaned me it, there are some wonderful flower scenes and soft spring colours. Have fun everyone, looking forward to visiting you over the next week.

This week, we at My Time To Craft, would like to see you make a project/card for a Special Lady in your life or if your fortunate a Mother's Day card, for here in the UK it will shortly be Mother's Day. I recently purchased a 6 inch square pad of Papermania Parisienne papers from the Capsule Collections. £ sheets from the Capsule collection of Parisienne papers.
Dragonfly stamp from Sheena Douglas on card and vellum
Flower from Chloe stamps, stamped twice with a large pearl stone added.
Cream lace
Greeting stamp and die from Go - Kreate.

As mentioned - completed homework cards from a recent class. Didn't they do well?

Sparkles Monthly - Easter Parade
An indication for me of how fast the months go by, is how fast it seems to come round to Sparkles Monthly, here we are ready for our third challenge this year for the month of March. Shaz has chosen for us
Easter Parade . Please do take a look at the challenge blog for the fabulous designs by the Design Team. Have fun, anything to do with Easter, chicks, eggs, rabbits, hats, bunnies, you have so many to choose from. A friend loaned me a very large stamp which stamped out the Easter basket, it was then cut, scored, folded and glued together, I added tissue paper, a few small Easter eggs and two little chicks, one has jumped out to say hello to the 3 little rabbits on the card. The rabbits have been decoupaged at varied heights to give dimension. Coloured with Promarkers. Sadly I have no idea whose make the rabbits wooden stamp with Easter eggs is, it has no identification on it.
Thanks to our sponsors this month
Please pop over to the main blog to see the wonderful prize for the winner.

It's time for week C at Alphabet Challenges and Jennifer has chosen for us Country Flowers. At this time of the year we are all hoping to shortly be seeing the spring flowers in full bloom. The stamp, yes, it's only one stamp, bought bargain price at a craft event, no info on it.

Technique Time Tuesday
Caught in Crystal
I love to pop into Mynette's challenge blog Technique Time Tuesday , I am interested in learning new techniques whenever possible, however, for this particular challenge I have made cards using this wonderful technique before, so had to have another go to enter into the challenge. It is one of my favourite techniques and one the ladies of my class always enjoy, because until your project has dried and you turn it over, if you can be patient enough to wait, you never know what it is going to be like - it's always a surprise.
White and black card stock

Stazon ink

Typography - Words or a Name
It seems in the paper crafting world Typography - the use of words or names on cards/projects is currently very popular. Julie on the DT of Cardz 4 Guyz has chosen this very subject for the challenge this week. Papermania recently brought out some wonderful stamps which fit in well with this topic. I know that Woodware has also brought out some great large word stamps too, a must on my list of wants, not needs, just wants, I don't kid myself any more. I decided to make my card for one of the younger Guyz today.

Nature at Cardz 4 Guyz
This week at Cardz 4 Guyz - Kim has chosen Nature, a lovely suggestion for this time of the year when we are all so much looking forward to spring. For some of us in the UK we really haven't had to endure a long cold winter, or the dreadful rainstorms, but it has been a long strange kind of winter and Nature is showing signs it is ready to enjoy the forthcoming spring, so a good choice Kim. Remember you need to make your project for a male person of any age. Have fun and I look forward to visiting you.

Spring Colours
At Fantasy Stamping Jan has chosen or our challenge, for us to use Spring Colours. It was a pleasure, to be able to look for the yellows, light greens, such pretty pastel colours. For a Christmas present I was fortunate (after lots of un-subtle hints) to be given 6 of the LOTV flowers in containers, this being the Daffodils. I have coloured the flowers with Promarkers. The background is a sheet of music sheet printed from a Debbie Moore / Leonie Pujol CD - Songbirds. The additional daisies and stems are from my stash. Please pop over to the main blog for the team have been having a fun time producing their inspirational cards for you. Oh! How I am looking forward to the Spring.
