Butterfly - Spots and Stripes

A recently discovered new challenge for me is Butterfly Spot Challenge, what a simply brilliant idea for anyone who loves butterflies and let's be honest, butterflies must be about the most frequent embellishment we see on our cards. I know I find them useful to cover an uwanted spot of ink etc.  For this card each butterfly is placed for design not as cover ups. LOL The challenge is Spots and Stripes along with your butterfly, The background papers are from one of my paper pads in my stash, I also stamped the butterflies onto paper from the same paper pad. The top butterfly is from Sheena Douglas, the middle one was free with Craft Stamper magazine and the bottom one is from Elusive Images.  The greeting is from Hobby Art. Thanks for this challenge, I'm sure I'll be popping back for more challenges, just love my butterflies.
I am also entering this card into the Get Well challenge at In The Pink

  1. Hi Cazro,
I don't know why your picture wouldn't load as it is no larger than others on your blog. I have gone into Mr linky from my end and could see your listing so picked up your photo for you. Your entry is No 4. Super use of the pattern papers. I like how you have the stripes down the centre of the page and placed the butterflies in descending size. Thank you foe fluttering by my challenge. hugs Mrs A. (butterfly challenge).

  2. Hi Cazro, This is a pretty card with sweet butterflies. I love the pink and yellow together. My upload always says my picture is too big so I created a Flickr account and it always loads from there. I don't know why it says that it is too big. Just go to Flickr.com and create your account and you can upload your cards there and enter in challenges from your Flickr account. I hope this helps.

  4. Hello Cazro, just saw your pretty card over at Mrs. A's stripes & spots challenge, and zipped over for a closer look and become your newest follower too. Love the way you've got the bold dot pattern behind that wonderful stripe paper with the gorgeous butterflies floating on top of it all. Love the soft coloring of the butterflies against the bold colors of the paper and a wonderful design layout too. Nice to meet you, and hope you'll find time to visit me too. TFS
