Flowers


For the next two weeks over at My Time To Craft (MTTC) our 
challenge is one which is bound to be popular for don't we all
just love
FLOWERS.
As simple as that, not a difficult challenge at all.

The Colour Purple



For the next two weeks at Fantasy Stampers our challenge is

THE COLOUR - PURPLE.
According to many surveys, they say Purple is the favourite colour 
for many crafters,  we are putting this to the test. How many will be interested 
we wonder. The DT have enjoyed working with the colour, including our two
 new members to the team. Why don't you pop over to meet them and see how 
the DT have worked with The Colour Purple.

How My Card Was Made

White scallop edge card. 
Purple with silver swirls backing paper is very old stash
I believe from Craftwork Cards.  Proves why we hoard our
stash, knew I would need it one day.
Mirri card to mat the background and image strip
Stamp is my newest purchase, I love it, I think you'll be seeing
 a lot more of this one.
Stamp is Butterfly Border from Honeydoo Crafts. 
Coloured with watercolour pencils and watercolour mica paints. 
Irredescent gems, lace and peals from stash.

N is for No Patterned Paper


Hi again, I know it's only August, but hey, I need to be making
Christmas cards, sorry, but the family orders are already coming in.
Over at Alphabet Challenges we are already up to the letter N - 
Helen has chosen for us 

NO PATTERNED PAPER.

Please pop and see what the DT have made, there are 
some great ideas to stimulate your creativity,  above all enjoy the process.

About My Card
White cardstock cut to measure 3.5" wide x  7" long 
which fits nicely into some free envelopes I was given. 
Faux stitches around the card, using a Micorn pen. 
The snowmen have been stamped then cut into individual heads.
the original stamp from Woodware - Snow Buddies , 
is a strip of 5 heads in a tower. 
I have coloured the snowmen with Promarkers Greys and Black. 
The greeting is from the same Snow Buddies pack. 
Attached the snowmen to the card using foam pads.

More Than One Fold


Hi everyone, for the next four weeks at Sparkles Monthly
our theme is to make a project with

MORE THAN ONE FOLD
There are many possibilities with this challenge, why don't you 
take a peek at what the fantastic Design Team have created. 

Details of My Card - Called a Shutter Card
Started as an A4  blue card
Using a paper template I marked where you were to cut
and where you needed to score. 
Then burnished the folds to create the folding shutter card.
Pieces of white and black card cut to fit the different sections. 
I marked each piece and the area it was to fit with a number.
Wooden tapestry stamps and various Colour Box ink pads
were used to created the flower designs
With Love stamp from stash.
The card folds flat and fits into a C6 envelope.

How I made my card........
6" sq card cut from A 4 white cardstock
6" sq. piece of white cardstock for the standing section

Lace,  pearls, flowers and leaves from stash
Main image stamp from Crafty Individuals CI 341 and CI 335
Coloured with Promarkers.

Numbered Birthday

For my inspirational card
I have watched Sam demonstrating her  Lelli-Bot kits on Create and Craft.
 At a recent craft event I purchased one of her kits called
Suited Seduction which I have used for this card.
The template for the folded card is from Robert Adams CD Fabulous Folds.
I added the age 30 - only because I thought it suited the suit. 
Another card I will be giving to my regular charity shop.

Snowman Song



I fell in love with the Snow Buddies stamp from Woodware the moment I saw it. 
So many ways this stamp can be used. This of course is only a parat of the stamp.
there are five little guys on the stamp, these are the top 3. 
I stamped them all using a Memento black ink pad.
Cut off the lower two stampmen.
Coloured the guys with the Grey Promarkers and of coure two from the
orange range for their carrot noses. 
Added a few punched snowflakes.
Shaped them and added to the white card with 3 d foam pads.

Orange and Brown


For the next week at Cardz 4 Guyz we have a colour challenge for you.
Sadly we are saying farewell to Andrea from the DT,
  for her final choice she has chosen 

ORANGE AND BROWN

The DT have again presented some amazing cards for

For my card 

A Kraft scallop edge card
Brown, orange and other similar colour mix of papaers,
found in old craft stash, I knew I would use it one day.
Brown card to mat on papers.
Hessian scrap ( US I believe is called burlap)
LOTV stamps Grungy Greeting and Playing Golf
Coloured with Promarkers
Distress ink to edge the topper
Marianne die for the topper.
3 white card candi to represent 3 golf balls.

No Designer Paper at Sparkles Christmas




It being the first of the month, Sparkles Christmas have a new
challenge for you, we would like to see a Christmas creation with

NO DESIGNER PAPER
Yes it is possible, I know you want to use up your stash of 
Christmas papers but we want you to try something different.
The DT have some wonderful ideas and inspiration here.
We also have two amazing sponsor prizes.

For my cards.
White cardstock, cut to fit a pack of envelopes I found in my stash.
The cards measure 3.5" x 7" which is referred to as DL. (Double Length)
Stamps are from Woodware - Christmas Bells with Sentiment
Coloured with Sakura pens, Blue and Copper Sparkle pens
The Turquoise colouring is with a Glaze pen.
Peel off dots to embellish the dangles.

We always need some easy and quick cards to add to our
Christmas needs for family, friends and even for charity.
