Good morning, I hope you are well. My thoughts and
well wishes today go to everyone who is involved in
the situation at Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire, UK.
I don't normally make comment on issues in the news, but
I am making a double exception today, one for my
concerns with the weather and the problems with the
dam in a small town in the UK and for everyone in
El Paso, Texas and in Dayton, Ohio. My sympathy
goes to everyone in these towns after suffering mass
shootings with many injured, some seriously, and
many who did not survive the carnage.
Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday.
Debbie has chosen Challenge #102 - Friendship
Please pop over to the blog to see the wonderful
creations by the design team and for details
of the challenge.
I used papers from my stash and a paper pad from
Hobbyart . The main stamp is from LOTV - Coffee Break.
The greeting stamp from my stash, the Friendship stamp is
one of the Grungy greetings by LOTV.
Coloured with Promarkers, after adding the photo I decided
I did not like the black shoes, so they have been changed.
I have paper pieced a new pair of blue shoes for her.
Thank you for your visit.
I love this image. So sweet and so innocent!ReplyDelete
What a lovely birthday card! Love all of the beautiful papers and your sweet friends are perfect for this challenge. I echo your concerns for all of the problems happening now. I wish we could do more than "thoughts and prayers" but perhaps that is the best we can do! I hope you send this card to a friend who needs some love right now. Have a great week!ReplyDelete
Love your friendship card. The layers and colors are fantastic.

Lovely card Cazro. Some of my friends and colleagues have been on duty in Whaley Bridge. It's been such a worry. I used to live in Buxton so Whaley Bridge was a close neighbour. I'm glad they've got the situation under control now. Love Dawn xReplyDelete
