HSL Watercolour - Anything Goes

 


Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Happy Little Stampers - Watercolour - Anything Goes for the month of February, beginning on 1st. Feb - 28th Feb.  For more details please visit the blog. There you will also find the inspiration given by the design team. 


For my design team card, I made a slimline card, with a black mat. On my watercolour white card I watercoloured sprinkles of Yellow Ochre Brusho powder. I decoupaged the three main flowers, painted with Orange Brusho powder.  Splattered with a fan brush orange splatters. The greeting is from my stash. Kissing Technique (stamps)

I made a 5" sq white card wuth a dark blue mat. the sentiment stamps is from The Works. I used an Anita's Block stamp using Versafine Clair Bluebell ink, it was kissed with a texture stamp from Creative eExpressions, but sadly it is not as perfect as it was intended, but I am forever hearing there is no such thing as perfect in art, so I'm going with it. Hope you enjoy playing with thids technique. Have fun.

For my card, I used a 6" sq white card., with black card for matting. All other papers are from a paper pad, - Beach Life by Craft Sensations. The LOTV stamp is Toot Toot., coloured with Promarkers. Sentiment stamp from my stash. I added a 50 to the card for a special birthday. Enjoy the dchallenge, have fun.

Make It Sparkle!

 


Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz - Dawn has chosen

For my DT card I made a 6" black card, then matted with a champagne colour non-shed glitter card.  I stamped onto a piece of  black card and heat embossed with Stampendous Shabby Pink E.P. The stamp is by Woodware Designs - Bubble Bloom. I added to each of the bubble petals a selection of shiny gems. I also added three black gems to the three single blooms. The leaves have glitter added. The sentiment is a die cut from the same chanpagne glitter card. Enjoy the challenge, stay safe and well. Gappy crafting.

Something Beginning with 'P'

 


Hello, welcome to my blog, I've had a week of no challenges, time for me to have a short rest. I am now back to full throttle. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz chosen by me, 
#288 Something Beginning with P, not an easy one, but worth thinking about. For more details please check the blog, you will also see the inspiration from the fabulous design team.

For my 6" card, I used blue card for the mat, I blended the background sky with DI Broken China. The compass stamp is one from Tandastamps (closed) the remainder of the stamps including the Plane are from an A4 set of stamps with the magazine Creative Stamping Vol #3 - Around the World. I used Promarkers to colour and Versafine Clair Blue Bells for the compass and labels stamps. The sentiment is stash from The Works. Stay well, stay safe and happy crafting.

Winter

For my card, I usd a 6 x 4 white card the decorated panel is 5 x 2.5 " matted onto black card. The sheep are by Stamp Addicts, the remainder of the stamps - 5 in all - are by HobbyArt stamps. The birds are hand drawn, (He He), my only artistic skill. Coloured with Promarkers, watercoloure sky, glue pen, Glamour Dust added for the snow.  Sentiment sdtamp from my stash. Use Ribbin, Raffia or Twine

For my 6" sq. white card I have a a layer of black card, I cut three strips of pretty designer paper, added a black and white spotted card at the base. Joined the two sections with a piece of green ribbon. The sentiment is from my stash. Have fun, stay safe.

For my inspirational card I made a 5 x 7 card. Matted with Kraft card. The background is a sheet of designer paper from my stash. The die cut circle image is from a calendar, which I bought only for the amusing images for my scrapbook pages.  The larger image is a stamp from Around the World stamps set with Creative Stamping #3. I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  Have fun, stay safe and happy crafting.

Lace and Pearls

 


Hello everyone, wishing you all a happier and a much better new year than the last one. Even I have lost a bit of my mojo over the last few months, I am so pleased that I found this challenge easier to get started on.  Today at Cardz 4 Galz our challenge from Claudia is  #164 Lace and Pearls.  For more details please visit the blog where you will find the wonderful inspiration by the design team. 

For my 6" sq. white card, I matted with black card. I found a 6 x 4 Embossing folder with a suitable design, embossed 1 sheet and another strip of lavendar card to add as a background on the black card. I added a piece of lace to a strip of black card and added it to the card. I used two dies to create the white card for the image and the black mat. The flowr stamp is by Crafter's Companion- Sparkle Garden. I watercoloured the flowers using Koh-I-Noor watercolour paints. Pearls were adhered to the centres of the star designs. Sentiment from my stash.  I hope you enjoy looking at my card. I love comments, helps to kick my mojo into a good place. Take card and stay safe, happy crafting.

HLS Stencil January

 




Hello, welcome to my blog. This is my first DT card for the Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge.
I am thrilled to be joining so many talented crafters. Pleasevisit the main blog for more details and to see my fellow team buddies' wonderful inspirational cards/projects. 
For my card, I have used a 6" scallop edge card.  On the layer of white card I have partly inked through an Imagination stencil with Mustard Seed and Wild Honey DI, creating the stencilled background. The stamp is Meadow Flowers from Woodware stamps, coloured with Promarker alcohol pens.  Light blending around the edges with the Mustard Seed. The black edges were created with a black pen.

#Snowflakes

I made a 5 x 7 " white card. I added a silver mirri card for the background. On a white piece of card I stamped varied snowflake stamps with Versafine Clair Blue Bells and Summertime. All stamps are from Chloe Creative Cards - Sophisticated Snowflakes, supplied with the magazine, Simply Cards and papercraft #225. I hope you enjoy the challenge. A Winter's Scene



Welcome to my blog, first challenge blog post for 2022. We begin with Sparkles Christmas challenges the first challenge is #132 A Winter Scene. My time to choose, so I hope your ready to start making Christmas cards in the first month of the year.  Please check the blog for more details and of course to see the wonderful inspiration from the DT.
For my 6" Kraft card I added a dark brown mat. I heat embossed a Kanban stamp with white detailed embossing powder. I repeated part of the stamp on the left side to make the image bigger. The sentiment stamp is from Dreamees circle greeting stamps.
