Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge  at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.   Vickie has chosen #153 Things with Wings.  Further details and the DT inspiration are on the blog, please pay a visit.  For my card......

A 7 x 5" white card, I cut a 5 x 5 " piece of white card. Using 4 Distress Ink colours I created a striped area, spritzed with water and dipped in the card, I dried it several times, dipping into the wet area several times. When completely dry, I cut 4 strips of different widths. Stamped stars with Rusty Hinge and the  ivy design with Mowed Lawn over the green areas. The biutterflies were stamped, fussy cut and coloured with pencils and Promarkers, as was the floral arrangement. All added with 3d foam. Greeting stamped. All the stamps are from a Stamp set - Enchanted Woodland from Creative Stamping #83 magazine.

HLS Stencil Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new monthly challenge at Happy Little Stampers - Stencil Challenge. More information is available on the challenge blog.

For my tall slimline card, I first stencilled the part brick wall, with a stencil from Chocolate Baroque, using 3 Distress Inks.  I then stamped the main image- Tatty Daisies by Woodware Stamps. Some areas which lay over the brick wall needed to be decoupaged (flat). The flower and leaves were coloured with Promarker pens. Sentiment is with the same stamp set as above.  Stay well.

My first card was put together with a mixture of stamps from two magazine sets. By the Seaside and Summer Escapes set, both with Creative Stamping. I used Distress inks for the background colours. a white gel pen on the waves. The remainder were coloured with Promarkers.

For my second card, as a few of our DT are on holidays themselves, this fills in a slot. This is from last year, so it's only as suggestion,. I used Hobby Art stamps - Coastal Create-It set. The card has a curved aperture front, with some art work at the front. I used Aquamarkers to watercolour the design. I hope you have fun creating your own Summer fun card.
