For my card, I do like the combination of Kraft card and the colour blue. My background paper is left over from a previous challenge, it originated from a CD but I can no longer rememebr which. The stamped image is French Rose from Inkylicious, I love this stamp, it is so versatile. I coloured it with Promarkers. The butterfly is from Do -Crafts. I added lace, pearls, gems and glitter to embellish. Have fun, I look forward to visiting you.

A is for Apples
Here we are at Alphabet Challenges beginning another trip through the alphabet, with the letter A - , didn't we all learn our ABC beginning with A is for Apple? This being the fifth turn of the alphabet I was surprised to read this is the first time we have gone for A is for Apple. For my main image, the apples, I went back to an early stamp from Creative Expressions, drawn by Sheena Douglass. The script stamp is from a See D set of Oriental flowers. The hessian butterfly is from Poundland. I coloured the background with Disress inks. The apples were coloured with Promarkers.

The theme for this week, Cardz 4 Guyz was set by our US Design Team member Andrea, who didn't consider there may be different ways to interpret Puppy Love, The team have however gone for the dog kind and not the immature young love kind. Check out the inspiration here. We would like you to concentrate on the PUPPY element, we only ask for it to be suitable for a male person and that you have fun in the creating. z is for Zentangles
At Alphabet Challenges, for the final letter of this series, Z is for Zentangles. There are lots of ideas and inspiration on Pinterest and You Tube, so don't feel you have no idea what this is all about. It is simply a posh and creative way of explaining doodling, which we all do in those relaxed moments if we have a pen in our hand. Please check out the Design Team's inspired cards. For my card, I have used for my image a free digi I found on Pinterest. Doodled away to fill in the large open spaces. I matted onto black and kraft card, using the Papermania spotted black and white card for the main background. Have fun, please give it a try, I am sure you will be surprised at what you can achieve.

#56 Kick Back and Relax
For our challenge this week at Cardz 4 Guyz, Helen from the Design Team has chosen Kick Back and Relax, there are many ways to relax, so we expect to see a variety of projects. The Design Team as usual, have created some amazing cards, please pop over to check them out. For my project, I have been longing to use this stamp, so in my mind, he is a farmer who is taking time to rest and relax whilst walking the fields. The stamp is of course LOTV - 'In The Country'. I actually watercoloured the image with my Aquamarkers, I did use Promarkers for his face and hands. The papers are from LOTV Father Knows Best and from my stash. The greeting and circle sentiments are from Kraftyhands CD - Botanical Butterflies. I stamped the dragonflies onto green vellum, adorned with clear gems. All the papers have been distressed, then edged with Walnut Stain DI. I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see how your guyz have relaxed. Have fun.

The background is real live snow, the light is so bad at present, so I photographed it outside in the snow.
