a prize to draw. Sadly whilst I had several comments on my blog, as was required,

Use an Embossing Folder

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit. Today starts a new challenge,
for the next two weeks at  Cardz 4 Galz .  Babs has chosen
a technique, which can be simple or you can play with it.
Please pop over to the blog to see the DT Gallery of inspiration.
For my card, I stayed fairly simple, but elegant.
I made grey, white and pink layers for the white embossed square.
Embossing Folder is Christmas Vines but it can look okay for any season.
I gutted the grey and the pink sheets, to die cut the grey scrolls and
the petals for the flower from the pink.
For those who don't know what I mean by gutted.  ........
Where only a small edge is needed on your card/paper, and you may
be short of card of the same colour, you can cut out  a
square from the centre or even directly die cut in the centre.
as long as you leaave  a sufficient border with strength
to use as your mat or layer.
The dies used were freebies with magazines.
the greeting stamp is from Honey Doo Stamps.

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit. Today I am posting a card
to enter into the current challenge at CD Sunday challenge blog,
which is Get Well Wishes.
A white scallop 6" card. Background papaer from my stash.
The remainder papers are from a Joanna Sheene CD.
artist - Janet Kruskamp.
I decoupaged the centre of the table, which sadly doesn't show
on the photo, but the coffee pot, cup and strawberries are more
shaped than flat.

Black and White

Hi everyone, welcome and thanks for visiting my blog.
Today starts the new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz.
Amy has chosen for us Black and White. It's been some
time since we had a monochrome challenge, I greatly enjoyed
making the card,  I am hoping you will too.
Plaease check out the blog, the DT gallery does not fail to
impress and inspire.
For my card, I have well and truly taken a step into the past,
and yet, silhouette (black) peel offs are being made popular once again
with the amazing new products from Little Claire.
I used paper from a Black and White Papermania Pad.
I stamped text with a Creative Expressions script stamp.
The bottles of wine are a Peel off as above.
I did however, replace lots of the little left behind pieces,
so the bottles weren't white.
