Christmas


Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge
at My Time To Craft - the last for the year will be appropriately
Christmas

I used a bought card with a pretty embossed border, with a
centre oval panel. I created an oval, and stamped on the Tall Tails
Robin from a lovely set by Katy Sue Stamps. 
I coloured him with Promarkers and gently dusted the 
perimeter with green cdhalk and dotted red berries.

Quickie Christmas Card

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today begins a new challenge
at Sparkles Monthly Challenges  blog.
The last challenge for the year chosen by me, will be
A Quickie Christmas Card or a Happy New Year card.
Please check out the blog for details and to see the DT inspiration.
For my card, needing a quickie I used a bought card, with a pretty
embossed border, which I lightly dusted with green chalk, with a red pen
dotted on some berries.
The Santa stamp is a favourite of mine from Stampendous stamps.
I coloured with Promarkers and sprinkled the usual Christmas glitter.

this is a favourite stamp of mine, it can be used all year round.
I waterccoloured the background, added glitter for the snowy parts.
I coloured the remainder with Promarkers.

T is for Trees



Hi everyone, thanks for your visit to my blog.
Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges.
Amy has chosen for the letter T -- Trees
My card is an A6 Navy card, with a silver foil mat.
I blended D.I. Chipped Sapphire onto white card, creating
the moon with a white punched circle, removed after 
completing the blending.
Several trees were stamped with Chipped Sapphire in first, second
 and third generations, creating the appearance of depth.
Clear EP sprinkled and heated, to added to create a frosty shiny look.
The Tree stamp is a pine tree from a Scenescape Set.
The Sentiment is by Crafter's Companions.

Show Me a Snowman

Hello again, there are a lot of Snowmen around this winter. LOL
today at Cardz 4 Galz our new challenge, the last for 2017
was chosen by me (Caz). I do love Snowmen!!
The challenge then, is simply Show Me A Snowman

it would be a shame to miss their inspiration.
I made a postcard, for a FB Postcard swap, 
I used my adorable Woodware Snowman Tower stamp.
I coloured it with Promarkers and the main card with
Distress Inks and a pine needle stamp around the edges.
I love the large greeting stamp, perfect for the postcard.

Snowman/men


Hello, thanks for your visit. Today at Sparkles Christmas Challenges
we begin our new challenge, out last for 2017.  Considering the amount
of snowfall over many parts of the UK, including the area where I live, it seems apt
that our challenge for December is Snowman/men, only one or many, you choose.
Please be sure to visit the blog, to see ther rules and of course
the amazing and interesting inspiration from the fabulous design team.
I apologise for the poor light of my card, I do live in the North of England,
and we don't enjoy a lot of  bright daylight.
My card is 7" square. To the left is an embossed panel of snowflakes,
I used an embossing folder. Two strips of pale blue glitter card, the
sentiment is a die, using the same glitter card.
The stamp of cheeky snowmen is a Woodware stamp, coloured with 
Promarkers. Glitter here and there and a sprinkling of crystal gems.

Anything Goes Christmas # 20


Hello again, we are starting a new challenge 
Anything Goes Christmas #20

Thanks to those who took part last month we had over 100 entries,
we were thrilled and inspired by you all. 
I stamped Ho Ho Ho for the background, using black 
and Festive Berries DT.
The main stamp of Santa is by Kanban, an old stamp but a useful one,
Coloured with Promarkers.
I used Fluffy stuff on his beard and fur on his suit.
It's such fun to use,  add to the area, heat it with your heat tool
 and right before your eyes it just fluffs up and stays so.

White card, embossed with a snowflake Embossing folder.
An oval cut into the card, sheet below the oval with the
stamped image of Santa by Inkadinkado, coloured with
Promarkers.
Gems added to the centre of the embossed snowflakes.

S is for Snow People


Hello again, today we begin a new challenge at 
It was my turn to choose, one of my favoiurite types
of Christmas cards are those with Snow People, so that is my choice.
Team B have had fun, so I hope you will pop overr to see their cards.
I used a scallop edged round card. , they remind me of snowballs.
A die cut background blended with DI Broken China.
A die cut circle, stamped with Snowmen stamp by
Little Claire Designs, the outer edge belended again as above.
The image was coloured with Promarkers with a generous sprinkle of Glitter.

White Christmas

Maryvonne has chosen 
White Christmas

The card is 6 x 4 inches, the central panel is matted onto silver mirri card.
The white card panel was embossed in an embossing folder - Christmas Vines.
The flowers were stamped using stamps from Honey Doo Designs onto vellum,
heat embossed with Stampendous White detailed powder.
The branch leaves were stamped with Chloe Stamps.

We want to see a Christmas card, so easy and so much needed

I made a square scallop edge card, decorated with a sheet
of designer paper from a Christmas papers pad from my stash.
Decorated with a paper bow.
The label has a stamp from Katy Sue Designs - Tall Tails Robin
coloured with Promarkers, a few stamped snowflakes to complete.
The paper and label were edged with Distress Ink Brushed Courdrou.

I have had this small chest of 3 drawers for a long time, 
I knew I wanted to paint/deorate it but didn't know until recently
what I wanted to do. All edges are painted with an orange acrylic paint. 
The papers I used are by Graphic 45 -Rare Oddities paper pad.
I adore Graphic 45 and Halloween so they are a perfect combination.

Favourite Flower and Why


Hello, at long last it appears as thought my chest condition has 
resolved and I can now function in a comfortable fashion. Health issues have
been a concern for the past two months,  so pleased to be back crafting
and blogging.
Today we begin a new challenge at  Cardz 4 Galz, Ina G our DT member
in Australia has chosen for us
Favourite Flower and Why? Yes you must tell us why you chose
your particular favourite flower. 
Please take a look at the blog, it seems that Roses are the most
popular choice of the DT, though there are others. 
For my card. I used a background paper from my paper stash.
The stamp I used is a Bluebell from Chocolate Baroque. 
Coloured with Promarkers.
The reason I chose the bluebell, is I love to see them in the pathways
and wooded areas, they smell so lovely and fresh. For me they are the first 
signs of the beginning of Spring. 
I look forward to seeing which flower you have chosen.

For my card, I created a scene with Santa and a few over excited reindeer.
The scene was created using stamps from Katy Sue - The Spirit of Christmas.
I used Promarkers to colour the images. Watercoloured the sky with DI
Stormy Sky. I used Fluffy Stuff on Santa's beart and white fur.
The greeting stamp is from Crafter's Companions.

Kraft scollop  edge card, matted with brown card.
Cream card - blended with Autumnal colour Distress Inks.

a piece of card after playing with Brusho powders.

Monochromatic

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and enjouing your crafting.
Today we are statting a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz.
Chris has chosen for us Monochromatic. 
You can use a contrast colour to display your creation, usually this is
either black, white, or a darker or lighter shade of your chosen colour. 
I have chosen orange, I love this colour which is bright and warm.
Plain black and orange cardstock. 
A piece of white card sprayed with mica inks for a background interest.
The stamp is from Woodware Stamps - Cosmos Flowers, as is the
greeting stamp. I used Promarkers and pencils to colour.
Black gems added to the flower centres.

Boo! Halloween

Hi everyone, thanks for your visit.  I hope you are well and 
enjoying your crafting.
Today we begin a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. 
Not surprisingly, it being the time of the year we are asking
to see Boo! Halloween entries or if you're not into Halloween
for whatever reasons, we would like to see your 
Autumn Thank You cards.

For my card, I have aimed for the younger male.
The background consists of DI blending, some ink sprays,
The Whitby Abbey stamp from Crafty Individuals, several stamps from 
within my Halloween collection of stamps. The main character of
Count Dracula is by Crafty Sentiments, coloured with Promarkers.
The main card is black cardstock. The glitter edging is strips of 
double sided tape sprinkled with fine silver glitter

Dragonflies

Hello, today over at Cardz 4 Galz, Sian has chosen
for our challenge - Dragonflies.
The DT have again excelled with their wonderful designs,
it would be a shame not to pop over to see them.
For my card, I decided to try, for a change, to be rather 
clean in my design.
I masked two sides of my card, leaving the centre to work on.
I started blending DI from the bottom to the top, 
a few shades of lemon, yellow, green, grey, ending with 
Hickory Smoke.
Both Dragonflies are stamps from a set bySheena Douglass,
stamped with Versafine black ink.
The sentiment is from Crafter's Companions.

My card is actually a postcard, which I made for a postcard
swap. The stamp is from Michael Powell of the lighthouse
and buildings. I coloured it all with pencils to give
a softer look. The words on ethe edges were created
with my computer  ----

Parts of the world are suffering so much with the disasterous
weather conditions.

Die Cuts Only

I don't have fancy shaped dies, I am a stamper, but
I do have lots of shaped dies, for matting and adding layers.
Hence my very geometrical diesigned card.
I recently bought a set of nesting square dies, this is

Autumn Colours


Hello, sending my love and best wishes to all my crafty
friends in Texas and Florida following the dreadful weather
conditions they have suffered over the last few weeks. 
Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday. 
Sue has chosen Autumn Colours - we in the UK are at the
beginning of our Autumn season, it is already colder and 
it gets dark so early. The Autumn colours bring an extra warmth.
Please pop and see the designs from the DT, they again have 
some wonderful inspiration for you to see.
I kept my card simple, several layers, of black and orange,
 to accent the main stamped image, which is a stunning
wooden stamp I recently bought for £1 at a craft event.
When I started stamping it was mostly with wooden stamps,
I still love them and like to rescue some of the good old ones
when I get a chance.  The only information on the stamp is
it is American. 
I have coloured the fruity Autumnal wreath with Promarkers. 
Have fun using your beautiful colours for the Autumn.

I have used a 7" sq. Kraft card, which nicely acommodates the large
stamp from Honey Doo Stamps,  along with the Greeting stamp. 
I love Amanda's stamps.
I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with white fine detail powder.
I then painted with mica paints.  It truly glimmers and shines .

Begin with letter 'D'

Hi, today we started a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
It being the 5th Tuesday in the month it is time for our
Something Beginning with the letter...... this month it is 'D'.
The DT have some super ideas, please pop over to see them. 
I took an easy option and chose DAD for my letter D.
I used papers from my stash from Creative Crafting World.
The Cricketer and accessories are by "Craft UK" Rubber Stamping.
This could be for a sixty four or forty six year old. 
The Dad stamp was a 50p purchase in a sale. So useful. 
Coloured with Promarkers and Distress Inks.

Get Krafty

Hello, thanks for popping by. Today begins a new challenge
over at My Time To Craft  - Jo would like us to 
Get Krafty - (Use Kraft card in our design)

I used a 6" square scallop edge card. Stamped with black ink,
snowflakes with crystal gems.
Gold Mirri card to mat a piece of cream card. 
Stamps used are by Katy Sue Designs. - Tall Tails Set - Robin
and the snowflake corner decorated with glitter and a gem.
The Tall Robin was coloured with Promarkers.
