Bunnies


Hello again, a quick return from yesterday's post. Today we are
starting a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges - our challenge
for the next two weeks is B is for Bunnies. Well it is that time of the year.

The background papers on my card are from Country Garden
by Dovecraft.  Two  oval dies side by side provide the mat for the bunny.
The bunny stamp is from LOTV - Spring Swing. 
Coloured with Promarkers and pencils. 
The sentiment is from Leonie Pujol - Love Hearts stamp set,

Fairy Nice

I have used a round card from Kanban. Die cut some circles and mats.
The fairy stamp is by Kanban - Sugar Buttons stamp set.
The papers are from Dovecraft Garden Party paper pad. 
Coloured with Promarkers and of course glitter added.
I'm looking forward to seeing an abundance of fairies.

In The Country

I love creating scenes, so took the opportunity with this
wonderful challenge.
I used the ploughman stamp from Stamp Addicts at the front.
All stamps behind are from Hobby Art stamps - The Farmbouse  Set.
I used watercolour paints, coloured pencils and Promarkers to colour.

Woodland Animals


Hello aain, thanks for your visit. Today begins a new challenge
at My Time To Craft, the challenge is
Woodland Animals or Easter

I made a 6" square card, used black to mat the detailed stamped sheets.
The background page was created using the leaves and acorn
which are included with the the Squirrel stamp set - 
Little Acorn - Sketchy set from Sheena Douglass
I used Distress Inks and Promarkers to colour
 all elements on the card. The embellishments have also 
been made using the small stamps of leaves and acorns.

Hello again, welcome to my blog. Today begins a new

I have used a 6" scallop edge card.  All the papers used are
from Simply Christmas CD by The Dreamees.
The adorable snowman stamp is by Little Claire, 
coloured with Promarkers. Glitter added here and there.
The small labels are by LOTV.
Card Candi added. The glitter card backgrounds 
can be seen better if you click on the photo to enlarge it.

White Embossing


Hello everyone, today we start a new challenge at
Pat G has chosen for us White Embossing.
You can choose whicever technique you like, as long
as it fits the theme. The DT have some wonderful inspiration
for you to check out.
I love monochrome cards, they can be so elegant.
I used a gloss black card for the background mat and for
the spotlight black circle.
The stamp is by Woodware - Meadow Flowers and the greeting.
Stamped onto white card with  Black Versafine. Stamped 
and heat embossed with Stampendous white detailed powder
 onto the black circle.  A piece of lace added.
Stamped, white embossed and cut a butterfly.

I chose to make a card for a 5 year old little boy.
The papers are all from a Papermania paper pad -
Capsule Blueberry Pie.
The 5th and embellishments are stamps by the recently deceased
Jayne Nesterenko. I chose these in her memory.
The large star is from a template in a magazine. 
Hope you will join us in the challenge, we all need a card
sometime or another for a male person, just add a number on it 
and have a go, but rememebr you also need to have fun.

Sketchy Time




Hello, today begins a new challenge at the two weekly blog
Meena has given us a sketch to work with, so the challenge is
Sketchy Time.

I always find that sketch ideas can bring me out of my comfort zone of
style and it can introduce me to new ideas and designs for future cards.
I used a plain edge Kraft card, matted with black card.
I used cream card for the background. A piece of black card 
for the vertical strip with a piece of hessian to give texture.
The topper is from a Pollyanna Pickering assorted toppers kit.
This is a Thinking of You card.

No Patterned Paper


Hello, today I found a challenge blog which has an interesting
challenge,  I fancied creating another blended ink  card.
are looking to see creations with
No Patterned Paper
On a piece of white stamping card, I first blended 3 DI
Cracked Pistachio, Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber.
Using a Versafine Onyx Black I stamped the beautiful, old yet still
one of my favourite stamps from Chocolate Baroque. 
The distressed border pattern is by Sara Davies -
- Crafty Companions Textures stamps. 
The greeting is from Hobbyart stamps.

Colours of the Rainbow


Hello, how are you?  Thanks for your visit, I know you do,
and it is greatly appreciated, I do like comments.
Today begins a new challenge at Make My Monday
Nandini has chosen Colours of the Rainbow, you need
to use at least 3 of the 7 colours. Please ppop over to see the

For my card I blended the background using DI - 
Mowed Lawn (green), Scattered Straw, and Mustard Seed (Yellow)
I threw water drops to add interest. The flowers were stamped off the 
card, coloured with Promarkers, adding, my third colour Violet -
Dusty Concord - then cut out and adhered to the card. 
The greeting is from Craftyroo Stamps.

Name Your Powder

We need to see you have used Embossing Powder.
The Design Team have enjoyed getting out their heat tools
please pop over to see their amazing inspirational creations. 
A plain white card, pink background card. White card embossed
using an embossing folder.
A strip of black card, a strip of white card with white heat embossed
flowers, stamp used is a La Blanche flower head. 
I used Stampendous White Detailed powder, which created a 
resist background. I blended Distress Inks Picked Raspberry and 
Worn Lipstick. The greeting is a stamp by Crafter's Companions.

Silver or Gold


Hi everyone, yes it is the 1st of March, so we are starting a
new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Christmas Challenges

I have made a 7 x 5 " card,  the card is white with silver mirri
for the background mat.  Sadly the photo doesn't show the bling of
the Silver Bells Wow! embossing powders. or the silver mirri card.
The white background has been stamped with Spruce from Sheena Douglas
Faith set then embossed with the Silver Bells EP.
The baubles and bows from Chloe's Creative Cards were also embossed with
the same EP. Added to the card with dimension  3d foam stickers.
The sentiment from my stash.
