Red, White and Blue



Hello, thanks for popping by. We are starting a new
challenge on Cardz 4 Guyz, this morning, 
you have two weeks to join in the fun.
#248 RedWhite and Blue

For my 5" x 7"card, I have used navy and red card
to mat and layer. The bike, from old stash, was heat
embossed with clear EP, onto Black Versafine ink. 
Using my Crop-o-dile, I added the metal eyelets. 
(Sadly you will see I was a bit heavy handed and
squashed a few of them. - Sorry.)

Colour on Kraft


Hello everyone, I hope you are safe and well. Thanks
for taking the time to visit my blog.
Today we begin a new challenge - Colour on Kraft
Please visit the blog for the small details and to see
my fellow team mates ideas for the challenge.
I used Kraft card with a lilac mat card.
The stamped flower heads, are from a set -
Wild Flowers - with the Simply Cards and
Papercraft issue #204. 
I white heat embossed the flowers and coloured  with 
Koh-i-Noor watercolour paints.
I enhanced by adding stalks and small dots using 
a white gel pen.  I also drew an edge to the 
Kraft card with the gel pen.

Use Stencils

Today a new challenge starts for the next weo weeks at
Make My Monday - #125 Use Stencils.

My card is a 6x4 in white card. The stencil I used was
one of the items in Joanna Sheen's last Premium Magazine.
I first lightly drew around the stencil, then 
I used watercolour paints to colour, .

My flora card is also a shaker card.  I made one recently 
for  a male challenge and decided to make another  shaker.
The paper is from a paper pad from The Works - I love their 
12 x 12 paper/.card, Aperture created with dies.
Acetate - assorted beads. A pair of Tattered butterflies by
Lyndsey Mason.
The stamped flower is by My Paper World.

Steampunk

Shaker Card


Hello thanks for your visit, I hope you are staying safe and well.
Today at Cardz 4 Guyz  we are starting a new challenge.
Mary Ellen has chosen a Shaker Card.

This is my card, made for a grandson, who loves music.
The guitar is an embroidered one, from my stash.
The largest star in mirri card  was punched with a Fiskars
scissor punch. The smaller stars were stamped and gold heat
embossed.  Stamps are by Crafter's Companion
Urban Graffiti and Street Wise.
The beads and gems added are all from my stash.
It's ages since I made a shaker card, I'm off now
to make another one. Happy crafting, stay safe.

Wedding

Today we begin a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. 
June is normally a month of weddings, I do feel so
sorry for all those weddings which have had to be
cancelled due to this dreadful virus situation.

Summertime


Hello, thanks for popping by, I greatly appreciate 
you taking the time.
Today at My Time To Craft the new challenge is Summertime.
Please check out he blog for details and to see the DT's
inspiration. 
I chose a 6" sq card, yes, I'm addidcted to them.
I used blue and yellow card to mat the main piece.
The stamp is from a set "At the Seaside" free with a 
magazine.  Promarkers used to colour the chairs.
An Inkylicious cloud template to create the sky with 
DI Tumbled Glass and a few yellow DI to create the sand.

Summer Activities


Hello,  I hope you are well and coping with our 
difficult world conditions. My thanks to you for taking the 
time to visit my blog.
Today at Make My Monday we have began a new challenge.

To create the beach scene I first stamped the lady, then 
added a mask to stamp the seascape stamp.
I used a clouds template from Inkylicious.
Stamps from an A4 set - At The Seaside. 
I coloured in various ways, Promarkers, blending inks,
watercolour with Oxide ink.

HLS ATC Monochrome

Hello, thank you for your visit. This post is a sad one for me, it is my last one on the design team,
because my six month term is up and Kylie has decided to take a well earned challenges break.
 I would like to thank Kylie for the wonderful experience and the opportunity for accepting me
on the team, enabling me to showcase on her wonderful blog.

                                  For my ATC Monochrome,  I used stamps from a set
                                called Enchanted Woodland which were free with the 
                                                Creative Stamping magazine #83.
                                    I used several shades of grey Promarkers, with a touch
                                               of gelly roll white pen to add highlights.
                                I blended the background with DI Pumice Stone (grey)

E is for Earth Bound Animals


Hello, thanks for your visit. I hope you are well.
Today there is a new challenge over at Alphabet Challenges.
For the letter E we have Earth Bound Animals.

the design team. 
For my card, I have again partly CASEd a card in the 
Creative Stamping #03 magazine, using a stamp from the
Go Wild set of stamps -manufactured by Crafty Individuals.
For the background I used a Circles embossing folder. 
Lightly blended Worn Lipstick DI partly over the card.
I used the leaves, sentiment and llama stamps from the set.
Added a paper sentiment. 
If you like animals and you enjoy stamping I highly 
recommend this Go Wild set.

More Than One Fold

projects/cards.
For my card, I CASE'd the example given in a magazine
which also had the free set of stamps I used. 
Creative Stamping Magazine #3 - Stamps are Go Wild-
Manufacturer is Crafty Individuals Stamps. 
This is called a Bridge card - it is kept in position by,
in this case, a piece of acetate.

Father's Day

I usded a Kraft colour card for my design.
Papers are from a LOTV paper pad Winter Wishes,
The stamp is 'All About Him' by Fizzy Moon Stamps,
which I coloured with Promarkers, but the armchair has been 
paper pieced using paper from the same paper pad. 
Decorated with Kraft colour card candi.

HSL Watercolour & Layers

Hello, thank you for your visit. This post is a sad one for me, it is my last one on the design team,

My card is a white 5" x 7" I ran a TH Oxide  around
the edges to give the appearance of a coloured card.
On a piece of white card I added Distress Oxides as
watercolours, when dried, added small stamps to
add to the background. The large stamped image is
'Tall Daisies' by Woodware Stamps.
I stamped again onto previously watercolored card,
using dies I cut and positioned 3 small squares, 
to add to the flower.
To add further layers I stamped 3 butterflies
onto the same prepared card.

Christmas Bells

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. Thanks for your visit.
Today at Sparkles Christmas Challenges we have a new
two weekly challenge - #113 Christmas Bells

My card is a 5 x 7" ivory card.  The mat is gold holographic
card giving that elegant background.
The stamped image onto ivory card is 
'Christmas Bells' by Woodware Stamps.
Coloured with various gold and glitter pens.
Additional gold and black gems added. 
It's a shame the sparkle and glitter on the bells 
isn't showing so good.
