Think Pink!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Our new challenge starts today at Cardz 4 Galz.  Helen has chosen for us #171 Think Pink! For more details and to see the inspiration by the design team please visit the blog.

For my white 6" card, I followed the instructions in the Simply Cards and Papercraft #228 magazine, using the Floral Embossing Folder to create two sides of the card. I used Worn Lipstick and daubers to colour the embossed panels. As this was mostly a papercraft card, I have also added a card I made recently to show stamping, decoupage and stencilling.

Take care, stay well and happy crafting.

Using Washi Tape

Hello, today our new challenge starts on Make My Monday.  Dawn chose for us #172 Use Washi Tape. For more details and to see the inspiration by the design team, please visit the blog.

Recently I was fortunate to go to a Daisy B Crafts workshop, where I was instructed on how to dress an Elegant Dress stamp with Washi Tape.  I coloured the drapes and  the Sparkle Shoe with an Amethyst Promarker pen, a purple pencil for the inner sole and again Washi tape for the patterned back of the shoe. The sentiment from my stash, with a few short strips of silver Washi tape to decorate the card. For the background I used a Honey Do Crafts stencil with Dusty Concord DI. I look forward to seeing how you have used your Wash tape. Take care.

Add Texture to your Card

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz.  Melanie has chosen for the challenge #293 Add texture to your card or project. Have fun with this one, so many possibilities to add texture. For more details please visit the blog, to also see the inspiration created by the wonderful design team.
It's been a while since I made an easel card, so had a go with this one. I made the lower section to look like a road, eve with stones to light the way. Neither of the images are road bikes, but if you don't tell, nor will I. The background is torn corrugated card from a box, messed up with DI Walnut Stain.  A torn page from a road map. Both the decoupaged bikes, I believe came from a sheet from either Kanban or a similar company, had them forever.' Celebrate' from a stamp in my stash. I had fun making this messy card. Enyoy crafting and please do stay safe.
