Watercolour -Anything Goes

 



Hello, thanks for your visit. Today begins a new monthly challenge at Happy Little Stampers for the Watercolour Challenge - Anything Goes. Why don't you pop over to the blog for more details and to see the wonderful watercolour creations from the design team.

For my card, I used the following materials and techniques.............

I smooshed DI Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber, for the background. A few of the small stamps from the same set as the main stamp, using two of the mentioned colours.  The stamp is by Kanban, the sentiment in Black Versafine from my stash. I coloured the flowers with chosen colours of Zig Watercolour brushes. (I love them). Main piece added to a yellow mat.  Both added to a white 6" sq, card. Easter or Spring Card

For my card, I used the following materials and techniques.

White 6" card. Yellow card for mat. Watercolour card for main image. Hobby Art Wooden stamp - Large Daffodil  - Zig Watercolour pens.  Background - Distress Ink - Tumbles glass -paint brush.  Small wooden stamp - SpringTime -Papermania.

Z is for Zoology


 Hllo everyone, thanks for your visit. today a new challenge started at Alphabet Challenges. We have reached the letter Z , once again completing another A - Z set of challenges. It being my turn to choose, we have Z is for Zoology (study of animals.)  You can check out the details and see the wonderful ideas by the design team over on the blog. For my card I used the following materials and techniques.

A 6" white card with a black mat, an orange and then a yellow mat. The main image is a white piece of card. Distess inks blended , Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Festive Berries, Circle from a punch used to mask the sun. Masking Tissue to cover the elephants - later removed. All Black silhouette stamps used from set with magazine ,- Creative Stamping Issue #3 - Go Wild.  Have fun - I did.

#267 By The Water

 


Hello, thanks for your visit.  Today we begin a new challenge for two weeks at Cardz 4 Guyz.  I have chosen #267  By The Water,  all details and inspiration by the design team are over on the blog.  We  so look forward to you visiting.  For my card, I used the following materials/techniques:-

White 6" sq card, Black card, white card.  Smooshed DI Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint onto the white card. Heat dried the watercoloured background. Stamped forground items  from Creative Staming Issue 3 - Go Wild set of stamps I used Versafine Black, decoupaged  the heron's body. Foilage stamps are by Lavinia. I hope you enjoy the theme, by the water, anywhere there is water.

Stencil It!

 


Hello, I hope you are well, thanks for your visit. today we begin a new challenge at My Time To Craft. Judith has chosen for your challenge. Stencil It! Please check the blog for details and of course to see the inspiration created by the design team. 

 For my card I used a Honey Doo stencil, Distress inks - Scattered Straw, Wild Honey and Twisted Citron. The stamp -Chrysanthemum by Pink Frog -coloured with several Zig Colour Watercolour brush pens. Greeting on the same stamp set.  Fussy cut and added with 3d foam pads. The background sheet is from a pad from The Works. Again thanks for your visit, I look forward to you joining in the challenge to use a stencil.

Clean and Simple at MMM

 

Hello, this is my second card today,  this time the new challenge starting today for two weeks is for     Make My Monday - Wei has schosen for #144 Clean and Simple. Please check ou the blog for more details and to see the designs created by the design team. I have an ombre of a mustard yellow to a lighter shade yellow for the background card, from The Works.  The stamp and stencil are both from Inkylicious, the stamp is Fairy Toadstool 1. I used Scattered straw to colour the moon and the circles. The image was stamped with Black Versafine, coloured with Zig Colour waterbrush pens.  The sentiment stamp is by Papermania. Enjoy making your CAS card. Stay safe and well.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today at Sparkles Monthly Challenges we begin our new challenge,  Tracey has chosen  #138 Babies. Please check ou the blog for details and to see the wonderful inspiration created by the design team. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  a pale blue piece of card for the background.  Two  B A B Y dies cut sets with my large alphabet dies, adhered to incdrease the depth.  All the embellishments  were cdreated with one Baby set die I found in The Works, long before lockdown. Some of the die pieces coloured with Promarkers and a white gel pen.  It's a boy computer generated. I hope you enjoy our Babies challenge.

Die-cuts fro MTTTCC

 


Hello, how are you, safe and well, I hope. today we begin a new challenge at 

MTTCC - My time To Craft Christmas  our theme for the next two weeks is # 5 Die Cuts Only.

Be sure to pop to the blog for more details and of course to see what the design team have created to inspire you.  For my card I have a white scallop edge card, a mat gold base, an embossed green card. all of the dies which create this scene were provided using a die cut set of robin and foilage in a magazine - Simply Cards # 196. I coloured all the pieces with Promarker pens. The greeting stamp was heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I hope you enjoy the challenge. 

Y is for Yellow


Hello, thanks for your visit. I hope you and yours are safe and well. Today we begin a new challenge at Alphabet Challenges. Dawn has chosen Y is for Yellow. We are so looking forward to seeing your entries for this super sunny bright colour.  Please go to the blog for details and to see the varied creations by the design team.  
I hope you enjoy making your card predominataely yellow, have fun and maybe experiment a little.  I used DI Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw and Mustard Seed. I used a 6" white card, and stamped around the edges of the card  using the Mustard Seed and a leaf stamp. All of the stamps used are from a set with the magazine Creative Stamping #3.  All of the stamps are from the stamp set, Go Wild, with lots of Safari type stamps.

#142 Spring Rain

 


Hello everyone, today's challenge card is appropriate as we have been having a fair amount of rain lately. Today we begin our new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz with #142 Spring Rain chosen by Misti. I chose a circular scallop edge card, A circle of cream card die cut, a black marker around the edge.  The stamps are from a stamp set April Showers with a Papercraft Essentials magazine #185. I coloured the elements with Zig Colour watercolour pens. Hope you enjoy the challenge and stay safe.

For A Teenager

 


Hello, how are you? Thanks for your visit, checking the stats, more visits than comments, which is nice to know.  Well, schools are back here in England, I am so pleased things are improving and there are more normal events beginning to happen.  Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz, Julie has chosen #266 For a Teenager.  Please visit the blog for details and to see some amazing creations for teenage boys, cdreated by the fabulous design team. 
For my card, I don't use die cuts a lot, I prefer stamps but when I saw this on craft TV a while back, having so many teenage grandsons, I had to have it.  The word stamps and the teenage boy die cut  are from Creative - For Men series. I built up the boy by die cutting several times for the hoodie, the shoes and the backpack. The grunge stamps are by Crafter's Companion - Just 4 Men series. The background was created using a brick wall stencil and  blended D.I. Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Added to a black mat on a white card. Make It Feminine

 


Hello, welcome to my blog, I appreciate you visiting me. Today there is a new challenge at 
My Time to Craft -  we would like you to Make It Feminine.  Please pop to the blof for more details and to be inspired by the creations from the design team. 
I made a C6 card with a black mat card .  I created the image by first heat embossing the flower onto spare card. I then masked the flower to heat emboss the leaves.  I then watercoloured by using Zig Colour pens for the flower and the leaves. Fussy cut the final image and adhered to the prepared white cardstock . I added several sequins in various sizes. The sentiment is from a set with a magazine.  The 
main image flower being Chrysanthemum and leaves by Pink Frog UK stamps. Stay safe.

Clean and Simple at Sparkles Christmas

 


Hello everyone, thanks for your visit. For the Sparkles Christmas Challenge - March is #122 Clean and Simple. Please check the blog for more details and to see the CAS inspiration by the design team.

I made a slimline card otherwise known as a DL card. The church window stamp, the poinsettia and the seniment die cut were all with a Creative Stamping #89 magazine. I used Promarkers to colour. I die cut both black and pink sentiment, dropping one to give a shadow effect.  I hope you like the card. 

Masculine Birthday at MMM

 


Hello, thanks for your visit, I hope you are well. Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday.  Debbie has chosen #143 Masculine Birthday.  Please check the blog for details and to see the inspiration from the design team. For my card, I created the background first blending in the centre with DI Scattered Straw then adding Mermaid lagoon anf finally Salty Ocean. I sprayed on water to bleach and patted it with a cloth. Placed onto a black mat. the car, flags, words are all stamps from issue #92 of Creative Stamping magazine.  I used Koh-I-Noor watercolours for the racing car, which was fussy cut and added with 3d foam pads.
