For my card, I began with a 7 x 7 inches white card. I added for the background part of a backing sheet from a Hunkydory set of Christmas toppers and background card. I added a topper of the delicious Christmas cup cakes. Finally adding a sentiment. One more for my Christmas basket.
Sorry, I still haven't got the photo editing sorted out, I will get there one day!
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new challenge at MAWTT, Tina has chosen for the challenge - #192 Four Legged Friends. To see the inspiration from the design team, please visit the blog.
For my card, I began with a 6" x 6" Kraft card. I added a dark brown with varied coloured pattern stripes for the main background. Followed by two rectangle card, light brown and orange, laid at angles. I then added the topper from a pack by Dreamees Ltd of many dogs. This was added onto black card and added with 3d foam pads. I chose this dog because my son has one very similar and it's 1st birthday is due soon, so this card will be for Hugo. I finally added small flags of the patterned card and a few words cut from a background sheet of doggy words. The birthday sentiment is from a Hunkydory Paper pad - Just My Type. Have fun.
I began with a a5 x5 inhes white card I folded one half of the front page to make and easal card. The front of the easel and the base I added gold Mirri card. The easal half I added the completed page of the Steampunk Dragonfly. The page/s are from a square Little Book of Dragonflies from Hunkydory. I decoupaged the body then the wings. I then created the background on the base of the card, selecting pages from two of the Hunkdory Essential paper pads. the metal dragonfly, I found in my box of embellishments, I finally added gold gems to several areas. I have been a lover of steampunk since way back when, and it was wonderful for me to play with it again.
