#126 Paper Piecing at Ruby's

Hello, I hope you have had an enjoyable time over the Easter holidays.
Here at Ruby's Rainbow it is time for our next challenge which is
Paper Piecing
Please pop over to the blog to see the lovely samples from the Design Team.
I do enjoy the fussy cutting involved with Paper Piecing but thought for this
card I would also include some straight, but maybe no so simple paper piecing.
I chose a shaped card from Kanban to add further interest.
The owls, paper pieced as individual owls,  are actually a stamp of 3 owls from
Little Claire. The papers used for all elements are from a Dovecraft
 paper pad - Garden Party.
The pearls added from my stash and the greeting is waste from a CD print.

Something Beginning with A

Hi, hope your well and have had an enjoyable Easter.
This week at Cardz 4 Guyz, we have one of my favourite challenges,
Something Beginning with A
We can go as far as our imagination takes us for the letter A.
The DT have certainly had fun with the theme, please take a look.
For my card, I have used a square Kraft card, matted with black card.
The cracked piece of card was created by blending several Distress Inks,
When dry, I stamped the cracks with a Creative Expressions stamp.
The smaller piece was created by adding DI in a water colour pool,
adding mica powders, blending the colours and placing your card
into the pool, allowing to dry.
I stamped the image with the Elephant Silhouette from
Little Claire.  The title is from a Sapphire Alphabet Die set.
Embellished with 3 metal brads.

go out of style or trend. Well this little stamp is one of my all time wooden

I masked the centre bunny to stamp the two outer bunnies.
Coloured all with Promarkers.
