I have been saying for years, "I don't do Cute!" With all the cute stamps around these days, I can't as easily back out. My problem is the majority of cards I deliver are to mature adults, who I'm not comfortable enough to give them a cuddly cute card. I hope I'm ot alone in this. Don't get me wrong, cute has it's place and I do give some out but not as many as I make.

My card was inspired by one in Creative Stamping #100, the stamps are with this issue, all by Crafter's Companion from the Cute Christmas selection,. I stamped the penguin twice, the 2nd time onto pink snowflake paper, to paper piece the hat and jumper. Enjoy your crafting.

O is for Outdoors

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin another step int Alphabet Challenges, today Helen has chosen O is for Outdoors.   Please check the blog for details and to see the creations to inspire you from the design team.

I created my card using stamps from By The Water stamp set, with the Creative Stamping # 86  magazine. I followed the instructions given in the magazine, but I cheated. Instead of using masking tape to hold down the created image, I created it off the page using a blending mat, then adhered it onto the main body of the card, it was easier for me. Who will be the first to spot  the mistake?

The bird should be soaring - not diving. Too late to do anything about it now.
